PENSACOLA, FLORIDA – A Pensacola pair are facing federal charges that could land them in prison for life, accused of running a significant drug operation and illegally possessing firearms. Calvin D. Thomas, Jr., 30, and Satori Ashanti Keys, 45, were indicted by a federal grand jury this week, bringing to light a case involving substantial quantities of dangerous narcotics.
According to the indictment, both men are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute more than 40 grams of fentanyl, over 500 grams of cocaine, and marijuana. Beyond the drug charges, they also face one count each of possession with intent to distribute the same quantities of illicit substances, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon – a particularly serious charge given their alleged involvement in the drug trade.
