Philadelphia, PA – A shocking case of child exploitation has come to light in Delaware County. Philip Ahr, a/k/a ‘DaddyX’ and ‘DaddyXX,’ of Radnor, was indicted on federal charges related to the distribution of child pornography.
According to investigators, Ahr trafficked in hundreds of images and videos of child pornography on the internet, dating back to 2013. This disturbing activity is alleged to have continued for nearly three years, resulting in multiple counts of distribution, receipt, and possession of child pornography.
The indictment against Ahr includes two counts of distribution of child pornography, two counts of receipt of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces a statutory maximum sentence of 100 years’ incarceration, a 5-year mandatory minimum sentence of imprisonment, 5 years up to a lifetime of supervised release, a $1,250,000 fine, and $10,500 in special assessments.
Ahr made his initial appearance in federal court on February 2018, where he was detained pending a detention hearing scheduled for February 26, 2018.
The investigation into Ahr’s activities was conducted by the FBI, in conjunction with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC). The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michelle Rotella.
