Quenshon Travez Robinson, Conspiracy to Receive and Possess Stolen Firearms, Georgia 2019

MACON, Ga. – A pair of armed probationers facing federal charges for breaking into cars in a Macon neighborhood have been locked up. Quenshon Travez Robinson, 23, and Deshae Amondai Floyd, also 23, both from Macon, were sentenced to federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to receive and possess stolen firearms.

Robinson was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Marc Treadwell on September 1st to 34 months in prison, along with three years of supervised release. His sentence will run consecutively to any term imposed in local courts for probation violation. Floyd was sentenced on August 6th to 27 months and three years of supervised release.

U.S. Attorney Charlie Peeler emphasized the threat of stolen firearms to community safety, stating, “These repeat criminals will now face several years in federal prison to ponder the dangers of stealing guns.”

The duo was caught by Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies on February 16th, 2019, during a residential burglary. They were found with two stolen pistols and ammunition while attempting to flee from the scene.

Both men were already on probation for serious offenses—Robinson for Criminal Damage to Property and Floyd for Cruelty to Children—when they committed these crimes, which is illegal under their First Offender status.

This case was part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) and Project Guardian, the Department of Justice’s initiatives to reduce violent crime and enforce firearms laws. It underscores the collaborative efforts of local and federal authorities in fighting crime.
