BURLINGTON, VT – In a shocking turn of events, Rahm Klampert, a 45-year-old resident of Hartford, Vermont, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.

According to court records, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Klampert’s residence and personal training studio, Rahm’s Results, both located in Hartford, Vermont, on June 20, 2025. In total, law enforcement recovered approximately 1.1 kilograms of methamphetamine, 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, and 75 grams of fentanyl.

The investigation, which involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Hartford Police Department, the Vermont State Police, the Vermont Drug Task Force, the Brattleboro Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations, has been ongoing for months.

Klampert, who entered a plea of not guilty to the charges during an arraignment on July 31, 2025, before United States Magistrate Judge Kevin J. Doyle, is being held without bail pending further proceedings.

The United States Attorney’s Office emphasizes that an indictment contains allegations only and that Klampert is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. If convicted, Klampert faces a 10-year mandatory minimum prison sentence and up to a lifetime term of imprisonment.

Acting United States Attorney Michael P. Drescher commended the investigatory efforts of the law enforcement agencies involved in the case.
