Raldo Mario Henry, Passport Fraud, New York 2024

Raldo Mario Henry, a Jamaican national, has pleaded guilty to making false statements in an attempt to obtain a United States passport and to reentering the US after having been deported previously.

According to court filings and statements, Henry was unable to provide information about the people he claimed on the passport application were his parents. He also couldn’t provide any other information about his childhood when questioned by a Special Agent of the Diplomatic Security Service.

When told that another person in Pennsylvania was using the identity information he had used on the passport application, Henry ran away. He was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.

A further investigation revealed that Henry was a Jamaican national who had previously been deported to Jamaica. He was arrested on July 7, 2016.

Henry pleaded guilty before United States District Judge Joseph DiClerico to an Information that was filed on September 22, 2016. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alfred Rubega is prosecuting this case.

Henry will be sentenced on January 3, 2017, and may face deportation after serving his sentence. The case was investigated by the U.S. State Department, Diplomatic Security Service, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
