CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – Randall Richard Stebbins, a 36-year-old man from Monongah, West Virginia, has admitted to distributing methamphetamine, according to officials.
Stebbins, of Monongah, West Virginia, pleaded guilty on an unknown date to one count of ‘Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.’
According to the charges, Stebbins admitted to having methamphetamine in April 2021 in Marion County.
Stebbins faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon S. Flower is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Aloi presided over the case.
The case serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug distribution in the region.
Stebbins’ sentencing is pending and he is currently awaiting his fate in the court system.
