Collice Reid, Aiding and Abetting Armed Robbery, Florida 2024

MIAMI – In a grim turn of justice, Collice Reid, 23, was convicted for aiding and abetting the use of a firearm during an armed robbery that culminated in the tragic death of Donald “Eddie” Johnston, a respected Lauderhill, Fla., resident.

According to trial evidence, Reid collaborated with criminal syndicate members who were involved in a spree of armed home invasions, robberies, assaults, attempted murders, and murders. On November 4, 2015, this menacing crew descended on Johnston’s residence, with Reid acting as lookout and getaway driver.

Scheduled to face the music on April 7, 2023, Reid will be sentenced at 2 p.m. in Miami before Honorable Paul Huck. The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Markenzy Lapointe, and acting Special Agent in Charge Maged Behnam of the FBI Miami Field Office have confirmed this grim development.
