A Grand Island man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation. René Magana, 43, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
According to court documents, a search warrant was executed at Magana’s residence on December 29, 2016, where he was found in possession of at least 54 grams of actual (pure) methamphetamine, along with a digital scale and small plastic self-seal baggies.
Magana was sentenced on April 12, 2018, to 10 years in prison, followed by five years on supervised release.
The case was investigated by the Central Nebraska Drug & Safe Streets Task Force.
