CONCORD – Antonio Aguasvivas, a 30-year-old Rhode Island man, has been sentenced to 51 months in federal prison for his leadership role in a drug trafficking organization that operated in New Hampshire. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire announced the sentence.
Aguasvivas pleaded guilty on February 2025 to conspiracy to distribute cocaine and fentanyl, following an initial charge on April 26, 2023. His conviction brings the total number of sentenced defendants in this case to ten.
“This sentence sends a clear message that trafficking drugs in our communities is taken seriously and that those at every level of the supply chain will be held accountable,” said U.S. Attorney Erin Creegan. “Aguasvivas led a major organization that brought large quantities of deadly narcotics into our neighborhoods.”
The FBI’s Boston Division, along with the DEA and Manchester Police Department, conducted an extensive investigation into Aguasvivas’ drug ring. They discovered that the defendant personally delivered drugs to customers or arranged for runners to do so daily from Rhode Island to New Hampshire.
“The FBI will continue to disrupt drug trafficking operations and protect our communities from violent crime,” said Ted E. Docks, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Division. “Aguasvivas’ sentence is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our law enforcement partners.”
This investigation was part of Operation Take Back America, which mobilizes Department of Justice resources to combat illegal immigration, eliminate cartels, and protect communities from violent crime.
