Robert Terrance Williams, III, Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm, Montana 2023

In a shocking turn of events, Robert Terrance Williams, III, a 45-year-old man from Billings, Montana, was charged with prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Williams was arraigned on June 2 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy J. Cavan and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

If convicted of the most serious crime, Williams faces a maximum of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.

Williams was detained pending further proceedings. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Montana Highway Patrol investigated the case.
