In an exchange of words that could have gone deadly, Ivey called the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York twice that day to issue threats after being referred elsewhere by an Assistant United States Attorney. His threat was met with immediate action, and now he stands before the court.
The sentence against Ivey includes a fine up to $250,000, supervised release for up to 3 years, and a special assessment of $100. The March 7, 2017, date will be etched in his memory as the day he receives his sentence from Chief United States District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr.
