WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA — A Marshall County man has been sentenced for his role in a cocaine distribution operation in Wheeling.
Ronald Lee Shaw, also known as “Fuzz,” age 46, of Moundsville, West Virginia, was sentenced to 33 months incarceration for drug distribution, United States Attorney Bill Powell announced.
Shaw pled guilty to one count of “Distribution of Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of a Protected Location” in September 2017.
Shaw admitted to selling cocaine near Riverview Towers in Wheeling on April 18, 2017.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen L. Vogrin prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
The Ohio Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated the case.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over the sentencing hearing.
