Roylee Richardson, Jr. Found Guilty of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Davenport IA, 2022
DAVENPORT, IA – In a shocking turn of events, a federal jury has found Roylee Richardson, Jr., a 32-year-old Davenport resident, guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of tampering with a witness.
On February 7, 2021, officers from the Davenport Police Department responded to an apartment complex at 3348 Heatherton Drive in Davenport, following reports of shots fired.
This is Richardson’s third conviction related to a shooting.
The federal conviction for felon in possession of a firearm carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, while the two counts of tampering with a witness each carry a maximum sentence of 20 years.
Richardson is set to be sentenced in federal court on January 24, 2023.
