Sharon Drug Kingpin Pleads Guilty to Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin Ring

GRIMY NEWS ALERT: Sharon, Pennsylvania’s London Pinkins, a 29-year-old drug kingpin, has copped to his crime. Pinkins pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiring to distribute vast quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin, as well as laundering the proceeds from his criminal enterprise.

The charges against Pinkins include conspiracy to distribute at least 500 grams of cocaine, 400 grams of fentanyl, and 100 grams of heroin between June 2020 and June 2021. Additionally, he admitted to conspiring to launder drug trafficking proceeds between February 2021 and June 2021.

United States District Judge Cathy Bissoon has set sentencing for October 1, 2024. Pinkins faces a life sentence under the federal guidelines, along with fines totaling up to $10 million. The actual sentence will be determined by the seriousness of the offenses and any prior criminal history.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Benjamin C. Dobkin and Craig W. Haller. The investigation leading to Pinkins’ prosecution was a collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, DEA, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, ATF, and several local police departments.

The successful prosecution is a direct result of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation. OCDETF’s multi-agency approach aims to dismantle high-level drug traffickers and criminal organizations that pose a threat to American communities.
