Oklahoma Man Pleads Guilty to Felon in Possession of Explosive

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Steven William Burden, age 46, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of Felon in Possession of an Explosive.

The Indictment alleged that on November 16, 2020, Burden knowingly possessed thirty-one semi-gelatin dynamite sticks after having been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.

The charge arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and the Tulsa Police Department.

Steven William Burden, a resident of Okmulgee County, will face the consequences of his actions after pleading guilty to a serious crime. His guilty plea is a step in the right direction towards justice being served.
