Watertown Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Possession of Controlled Substances

SYRACUSE, NEW YORK – In a shocking turn of events, Stuart Chambers, a 44-year-old resident of Watertown, New York, pleaded guilty yesterday to attempted possession of methamphetamine and cocaine with intent to distribute.

According to authorities, Chambers admitted to traveling to Syracuse from Watertown on January 30, 2024, to purchase one pound of methamphetamine and nine ounces of cocaine, which he intended to distribute. He was arrested as part of a drug interdiction operation conducted by the DEA and other law enforcement agencies.

As part of his guilty plea, Chambers also admitted to a previous conviction in federal court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania for possessing controlled substances with the intent to distribute.
