Thomas Alonzo Bolin, Lying to the FBI, New York 2019

ROCHESTER, N.Y.—In a shocking turn of events, Thomas Alonzo Bolin, a/k/a Peter Vincent, 22, of Greece, NY, has been charged with making a false statement to the FBI. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

According to sources, Bolin was interviewed by the FBI on March 30, 2019, and during the conversation, he admitted to sharing a video of the Christchurch attacks and the link to the gunman’s manifesto. However, he denied ever possessing a gun while in New York State.

However, a subsequent search of a bedroom and storage closet that Bolin is renting at a residence in Greece revealed a shocking discovery – investigators recovered a firearm and ammunition. The revelation has led authorities to re-examine Bolin’s statements and accuse him of lying to the FBI.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brett A. Harvey, who is handling the case, stated that according to the complaint, Bolin’s actions were part of a larger investigation into potential federal civil rights and firearms violations. The FBI obtained records relating to a Facebook account utilized by Bolin under the alias “Peter Vincent,” which revealed that he belongs to multiple Facebook groups, including Skinheads CZ/SK, which has members who express support for a white supremacist ideology.

The complaint states that Bolin made statements consistent with white supremacist ideology and referenced the attacks on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which killed 50 worshippers and civilians, and injured 50 others. The incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the growing threat of extremism.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and Bolin is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities will continue to examine the evidence to determine the extent of Bolin’s involvement.
