DAYTON, Ohio – The federal government has dropped the hammer on the Thug Riders Motorcycle Club (TRMC) with a sweeping indictment of its Midwest Regional “boss” Juan A. Robles and 13 other senior members.
The grand jury’s charges paint a picture of an outlaw motorcycle gang engaged in a relentless campaign of violence, including murder, arson, assault, extortion, and identity fraud. The TRMC’s Dayton chapter, led by Robles, is accused of committing heinous acts such as blowing up vehicles, deadly shootouts, and assaults on rival gang members.
Robles, known as “Juan the Man,” allegedly played a pivotal role in creating the local chapter and has been named the Midwest Regional “boss.” He is joined by Joey A. Marshall (King Joe, Diesel), Jared T. Peters (Savage), Brandon W. Fisher (Road Runner), John A. Smith (Chaos), Norman D. Beach (Stormin’ Normin’), Michael S. Henry (Brutal), Daniel B. Hutton (Havok), Michael L. Reese (Butcher), Matthew J. Hawkins (Hawk), Joseph M. Rader (Delta), Justin J. Baker (Wild Boy), Cody D. Hughes (Tater), and Brent A. Egleston (Be Easy) in the indictment.
Court documents detail that the TRMC’s Dayton chapter was established in late 2019, with Robles leading the charge. The gang maintained clubhouses in Dayton and Harrison Township, Ohio. Members paid regular dues and fines to the motorcycle gang, which operates chapters across the United States, Canada, Australia, Morocco, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The TRMC’s Midwest Region is composed of chapters in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. The region holds regular meetings referred to as “church,” where only full or ‘patched’ members are allowed to attend.
Count one of the indictment charges Robles, Marshall, Peters, Fisher, Smith, Beach, and others with conspiring to participate in criminal activities of the TRMC. The defendants now face a future behind bars for their violent and criminal actions.
