Crime Spree Unfolds in New York: Timothy Tundo Guilty of Machine Gun and LSD Possession

BUFFALO, N.Y. – In a shocking turn of events, Timothy Tundo, a 62-year-old resident of Bethany, NY, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges, sending shockwaves throughout the community.

The charges against Tundo include possession with intent to distribute LSD, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking, and unlawful possession of machine guns.

The plea is the result of a lengthy investigation led by the Genesee County Sherriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff Joseph Graff, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Bryan Miller, New York Field Division.

According to Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joshua A. Violanti and Stacey Jacovetti, who are handling the case, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Tundo’s residence in February 2021, uncovering a stash of LSD, oxycodone, and marijuana, as well as an arsenal of weapons.

The seized items included two machine guns, three assault weapons, 12 long guns, five pistols, a cap gun, ammunition, magazines, $2,500 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

The charges against Tundo carry a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison and a maximum of life. Sentencing is scheduled for November 14, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. before Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

Tundo’s guilty plea marks a significant victory for law enforcement and a stark reminder of the dangers posed by those who engage in illicit activities.

As the people of New York demand justice, one thing is clear: Timothy Tundo will face the consequences of his actions.
