Tulsa, OK – A Muscogee (Creek) Nation man is facing serious federal charges after allegedly attacking his partner with a firearm on tribal land. Quincy Jay Adams, 32, is accused of assault with a dangerous weapon, intent to harm, and strangulation, all committed within Indian Country. He’s also charged with illegally carrying and using a firearm during the assault.
Meanwhile, Vismar Erick Atahuichi Alanoca, 38, a Bolivian national, has been indicted on charges of advertising for and distributing child pornography. Investigators say Alanoca knowingly received and spread images and videos of child sexual abuse.
In a separate case, Venkateswara Chagamreddy, 27, an Indian citizen, is accused of orchestrating a complex wire fraud scheme. He’s charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, falsely posing as a federal officer to extort money, and obstructing commerce. This is a superseding indictment, meaning additional charges or evidence have been added.
The FBI and Tulsa Police Department investigated the Adams case, while Homeland Security Investigations and Tulsa PD led the investigation into Alanoca. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Emily Dewhurst and Ashley Robert are prosecuting the cases, respectively.
