United States Attorney Trent Shores dropped the hammer today as Jerrica Ann Renee Teehee Lackey, a 30-year-old resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, faced the music for her heinous crime. Lackey was sentenced to serve a staggering 300 months in federal prison for Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
In a chilling display of exploitation, Lackey used a minor child as her victim, forcing them into sexually explicit conduct while she captured the horror on camera. She then distributed these despicable images and videos via cell phone, spreading this abuse far and wide.
U.S. Attorney Shores had this to say: ‘This case is a testament to the power of state and federal law enforcement collaboration in combating child exploitation. We will not tolerate those who prey on the most vulnerable and create child pornography. Accountability is our mantra, and we enforce it with full force.’
The sentence was the result of a joint investigation led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Tulsa Police Department, and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Shannon B. Cozzoni took the lead in prosecuting this case.
‘The justice system has spoken,’ Shores concluded. ‘Lackey will now spend the next 25 years behind bars for her monstrous crimes against innocence.’
This conviction serves as a stark reminder of the relentless pursuit of those who dare to desecrate the sanctity of childhood and the severity of the punishment awaiting those who do so.
