COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – A brazen crime at the Benawah Market on August 21, 2014, resulted in the theft of $22,650 in cash and checks. The three perpetrators, including 37-year-old Twilla Marie St. Pierre of Worley, Idaho, broke into the closed market and made off with the loot.
Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) launched an investigation into the crime, which ultimately led to St. Pierre's guilty plea on February 3, 2015.
