Lionel Albino Galindo, 52, of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, has been charged with child exploitation, according to a federal grand jury indictment unsealed in the District of Puerto Rico.

According to court documents, from February 2024 to March 19, 2024, Albino Galindo allegedly sexually exploited a 13-year-old female minor using a cellular phone and internet instant messaging services.
He allegedly used these services to knowingly persuade, induce, entice, and coerce the minor to engage in sexual activity, including the production of child pornography.
Albino Galindo is also accused of knowingly transporting the minor to engage in sexual activity on several occasions and producing visual depictions of such conduct.
The defendant received child pornography from the minor and sent obscene material to the minor, the indictment alleges.

He also faces a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 15 years up to 30 years for sexual exploitation of children, up to 10 years for possession of child pornography and transfer of obscene material to a minor, and five to 20 years for receipt of child pornography.

The FBI is investigating the case with the collaboration of the Puerto Rico Police Bureau.
