A 26-year-old Jacksonville man used his phone to lure a 14-year-old to a Walmart parking lot for sex, landing him a 10-year federal prison sentence. Isaiah Jacob Jordan pleaded guilty on January 12, 2026, after being caught in an undercover operation by a Nassau County Sheriff’s Office detective.
The sting began on January 18, 2025, with the undercover cop posing as a 14-year-old online. Jordan asked the teen about their age and sex preferences, and engaged in explicit conversations before asking to meet in the parking lot.
When Jordan arrived, he was taken into custody, and a search of his car revealed condoms and lubricant. His phone held disturbing images of child abuse.
Jordan’s case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sex exploitation. The investigation was a joint effort by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Northeast Florida INTERCEPT Task Force.
Assistant U.S. Attorney John Cannizzaro prosecuted the case. Jordan will serve 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, and must register as a sex offender.
