A Wichita man is facing a lengthy prison sentence after pleading guilty to robbing a local liquor store. Jamarious Moore, 19, pleaded guilty to robbing F & K Liquor at 902 S. Woodlawn in Wichita.
According to authorities, Moore and another man, 18-year-old Raquan Hill, carried out the robbery. During the heist, a clerk shot Hill, who was subsequently arrested at the scene. Moore was taken into custody later that day at work.
Moore’s guilty plea comes after a thorough investigation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Wichita Police Department. U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister commended the teams involved in the case, praising their dedication and hard work.
