A Tennessee woman is behind bars for a vicious cyberstalking campaign against a prosecutor who dared to pursue her husband for rape. Adrienne Rosse, 37, of Arlington, mailed anonymous letters and explicit photos to the Tennessee Attorney General, local news reporters, and even defense attorneys.
The harassment was a cry for help from Rosse, whose husband, Charles, was being prosecuted for rape and sexual battery. When the ADA refused to back down, Rosse unleashed a torrent of rage, claiming the ADA had a secret career in pornography.
The ADA was forced to leave her job and relocate after the vicious campaign, but she’s back at work as a prosecutor. Rosse’s trial was a 3-day affair, with a federal jury finding her guilty of two counts of cyberstalking.
A sentencing hearing is set for August 5, where Rosse will face the music for her crimes.
