In a shocking turn of events, Willie Frank Harvis, a 62-year-old man from Enterprise, Alabama, has been sentenced to serve 74 months in prison for his involvement in a gun and drug trafficking operation in the region.
The charges against Harvis include possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and being a felon in possession of multiple firearms. Following his prison sentence, Harvis will be on supervised release for three years, with no parole in the federal system.
According to court documents, law enforcement first began to suspect Harvis of selling drugs from his Enterprise home in late January 2019. On February 1, 2019, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant and searched Harvis’s residence, where they found crack cocaine and eleven firearms.
