Anthony Rivera-Santana, 38, of Youngstown, Ohio, finds himself in hot water after being charged by a federal grand jury with failing to register as a sex offender. United States Attorney Steven M. Dettelbach announced the charges against the defendant.
The indictment alleges that Rivera-Santana has been dodging his registration obligations since May 1, 2013, right up until December 3, 2014. During this time, he reportedly traveled across state lines, which is a clear violation of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).
