Zamora-Pineda Gets Time Served for Illegal Reentry
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Jeffry Gabriel Zamora-Pineda, a 33-year-old Honduran national, received a sentence of time served today in federal court for the charge of Unlawful Reentry of Removed Alien. The case, prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, highlights the continued federal crackdown on individuals illegally present within the state.
The investigation, a joint effort between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Division and the Environmental Protection Agency, revealed that Zamora-Pineda was discovered in the United States on March 19, 2025, despite having been previously removed in 2019. Crucially, he had not obtained the necessary consent from the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission, constituting a federal offense.
