According to court documents, Baldridge, a Senior Vice President and Director of Managed Investments at an investment brokerage in Glen Allen, Virginia, used his position to transfer funds from client investment accounts to his own accounts on at least 15 occasions between September 2011 and July 2016. The maximum penalty for Baldridge’s crimes is 20 years in prison, as he waived indictment and pleaded guilty to a criminal information. Sentencing is set to take place on March 10, 2017.
U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson accepted the plea, paving the way for Baldridge’s sentencing. The court will determine the actual sentence based on the advisory Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
