Pine Ridge Man Guilty of Abusive Sexual Contact
A 40-year-old man from Pine Ridge, South Dakota, has been found guilty of a heinous crime that has shaken the community. Patrick Left Hand Bull appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Veronica L. Duffy on October 24, 2013, and pled guilty to a charge of Abusive Sexual Contact.
The charge carries a maximum penalty upon conviction of 6 years and a $250,000 fine. Left Hand Bull’s actions are a stark reminder of the gravity of this crime. On July 23, 2013, he engaged in sexual contact with a woman who was unable to decline participation.
