Worcester Woman Pleads Guilty to Heroin and Cocaine Conspiracy
BOSTON – A Worcester woman has pleaded guilty to her role in a heroin and cocaine conspiracy in federal court in Worcester.
Kristin Little, 34, pleaded guilty today to one count of conspiring to distribute heroin and cocaine and to possess heroin and cocaine with the intent to distribute.
According to court documents, Little sold heroin and cocaine from her apartment in Worcester and collected debts that arose from previous drug sales. In May 2017, a federal wiretap captured her co-defendant Vito Nuzzolilo directing Little to provide heroin and cocaine of various quantities to numerous customers.
Little and four co-defendants, including Vito Nuzzolilo, Thomas Walker, Melissa Rock, and Ricardo Ortega-Vasquez, were indicted in July 2017.
The investigation into drug trafficking in the Worcester area led to the arrest of Little and Nuzzolilo in May 2017. The other co-defendants were arrested in June and July 2017.
Little faces a sentence of up to 40 years in prison, a minimum of four years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of $5 million.
U.S. Attorney Andrew E. Lelling, Michael J. Ferguson of the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey made the announcement.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Abely is prosecuting the case.
The remaining defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
