Imperial Man Sentenced to 72 Months for Illegal Firearms Possession
Aaron Jordon, a resident of Imperial, Missouri, has been sentenced to 72 months in federal prison for being a convicted felon in possession of multiple firearms.
On September 2021, Jordon pleaded guilty to the charges in United States District Court before Judge Rodney W. Sippel.
The investigation into Jordon’s activities began in December 2019, when investigators received information that he was distributing narcotics, including marijuana, LSD, and butane honey oil (BHO), in the Jefferson County area using a Snapchat account.
As a result of the investigation, a lawful search warrant was obtained on December 18, 2019, and Jordon was detained shortly after he left his residence. A traffic stop was conducted, and a black Taurus .38 special revolver was located in the center console, along with suspected narcotics.
During the search of Jordon’s residence, additional suspected narcotics and seven firearms were located and seized. Jordon’s previous conviction prohibited him from possessing any firearms.
The case was investigated by the Jefferson County Municipal Enforcement Group (JCMEG) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
