MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – A heinous crime has landed an Ada resident a lengthy prison sentence. Ryan Christopher Dill, 37, of Ada, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 293 months imprisonment, followed by a lifetime term of supervised release, for his role in an aggravated sexual abuse and assault case.
The sentence was handed down by The Honorable John F. Heil, III, U.S. District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The terms of imprisonment will run concurrently. Dill will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration.
The crimes, which occurred on December 25, 2021, at an Ada residence, left the victim with serious bodily injuries. Investigators from the Ada Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation pieced together the evidence, leading to Dill’s guilty plea on September 29, 2022.
Assistant United States Attorney Caila M. Cleary represented the United States in the case. The investigation was a collaborative effort between local and federal agencies, highlighting the importance of working together to bring perpetrators to justice.
The charges against Dill include one count of Aggravated Sexual Abuse, a serious crime that carries severe consequences. The fact that the crimes occurred within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation of Oklahoma and the Eastern District of Oklahoma added complexity to the case.
