Adam Matthew Denson, Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine, West Virginia 2021

A Charleston man has pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge in connection with a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

Adam Matthew Denson, 33, of Charleston, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 5 grams or more of methamphetamine. He was charged in a single-count Information in March 2021.

According to the plea agreement and statements made in court, Denson conspired with other persons to distribute methamphetamine on three separate occasions in Charleston in August 2019.

The Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Network Team (MDENT) conducted the investigation. Senior United States District Judge John T. Copenhaver, Jr. presided over the hearing. Assistant United States Attorney Negar M. Kordestani is handling the prosecution.

Denson faces up to 40 years in prison when sentenced on July 14, 2021. The case is currently pending sentencing.
