Alisha Klinger Charged in Elaborate Hobbs Act Robbery Scheme

In a brazen display of organized crime, Alisha Klinger, 41, and Jacob Snow, 36, were charged with narcotics conspiracy, Hobbs Act Conspiracy, Hobbs Act Robbery, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and brandishing of a firearm during a crime of violence and in furtherance of drug trafficking.

According to officials, the indictment alleges that Klinger and Snow conspired with others to sell fentanyl between November 2020 and April 2022. The duo allegedly stole drugs and cash from individuals involved in illegal drug trafficking and possessed and brandished firearms while doing so.

The defendants were arraigned before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer and are currently being held in detention.

The investigation into Klinger and Snow’s activities was a joint effort between the Jamestown Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) operation, which identified, disrupted, and dismantled the highest-level criminal organizations threatening the United States, led the investigation.

The indictment carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 17 years in prison and a maximum of life. Klinger and Snow are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The case is being handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti.
