Kansas City, KS – A 78-month prison sentence was handed down to a California man for his role in smuggling heroin and methamphetamine to Kansas City.

On January 5, 2019, Allan Bryan DeJesus, 40, of Bakersfield, California, was pulled over by the Kansas Highway Patrol on I-70 in Thomas County. During the traffic stop, a trooper discovered two pounds of heroin and 20 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in DeJesus’ vehicle.
