**HEROIN TRAFFICKER PLEADS GUILTY IN OKLAHOMA COURT**
Muskogee, Oklahoma – In a shocking turn of events, Amber Lynn Brake, a 24-year-old woman from Springfield, Missouri, has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute heroin in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The charges, which carry a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 40 years in prison, were brought against Brake after an investigation by the Atoka County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
According to the indictment, on or about December 2, 2014, Brake knowingly and intentionally possessed with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of heroin, a Schedule I controlled substance.
The defendant, who is currently in the custody of the United States Marshal Service, will remain there pending sentencing. A presentence report has been ordered, and sentencing will be scheduled following its completion.
