Methamphetamine Dealer Admits to Selling in Preston County
ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA – A Tunnelton woman’s life is about to take a drastic turn after admitting to selling methamphetamine in Preston County, West Virginia.
At the age of 32, Angela Dawn Yuchek pleaded guilty to one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine in a federal court. The crime took place in March 2019.
Yuchek could face up to 20 years of incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000. Her actual sentence will be decided by the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, taking into account the severity of the offense and her prior criminal history.
The case was investigated by the Potomac Highlands Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative. This multi-agency task force consists of the FBI, West Virginia State Police, Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, and the Keyser Police Department.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen D. Warner is leading the prosecution on behalf of the government. U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael John Aloi presided over the case.
