Ashley N. Rohrbaugh, Heroin Distribution, West Virginia 2017

Ashley N. Rohrbaugh, a 31-year-old woman from Purgitsville, West Virginia, has admitted to a heroin distribution charge, according to United States Attorney Bill Powell.

Rohrbaugh pled guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin after admitting to conspiring with another to distribute heroin in Hardy County from January to April 2017.

The heroin distribution charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.

Rohrbaugh is set to be sentenced by U.S. Magistrate Michael John Aloi. Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci M. Cook is handling the prosecution on behalf of the government.

The investigation into Rohrbaugh’s heroin distribution activities was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Hardy County Sheriff’s Office.
