Teen Charged in Shooters Place Burglary
A 19-year-old from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania has been indicted on federal charges related to a 2014 burglary at Shooters Place, a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer in New Brighton.
Kyle Jones, formerly of Beaver Falls, is accused of conspiring to burglarize Shooters Place in February 2014, along with an unknown individual known to the grand jury as JS.
According to the indictment, Jones and JS stole 14 firearms from the store on February 7, 2014.
The maximum sentence for the charges against Jones is 25 years in prison, a fine of $750,000, or both.
Assistant United States Attorney Brendan T. Conway is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.
The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies, including the Patterson Township Police Department and the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office.
An indictment is an accusation, and Jones is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
