Zachary Bradley, Child Exploitation, Arkansas 2024

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Zachary Bradley, 33, of Beebe, Arkansas, will spend the next 35 years of his life behind bars after being sentenced for a litany of horrific crimes against a minor. The sentence, handed down Thursday, June 20, 2024, by Chief United States District Judge Kristine G. Baker, reflects the gravity of Bradley’s actions: production of child pornography, transfer of obscene material to a minor, and attempted sex trafficking of a minor. This wasn’t just a lapse in judgment; it was a calculated, predatory assault on a vulnerable child.

The nightmare began unfolding around October 6, 2021, when the minor victim’s stepfather alerted the Beebe Police Department to a sexual assault. The subsequent investigation quickly revealed a disturbing pattern of abuse. Bradley allegedly plied the victim with marijuana and alcohol, incapacitating him before committing sexual acts. He then attempted to buy the child’s silence, offering an “allowance” in exchange for continued sexual exploitation. A chilling attempt to normalize and perpetuate abuse.

But the depravity didn’t stop there. Investigators discovered a trove of child pornography on Bradley’s phone, including images of another minor, believed to be approximately 13 years old. Even more disturbing were FaceTime conversations captured on the device. One video showed the minor displaying his genitals to Bradley, while another depicted Bradley exposing himself to the child. These aren’t the actions of a misguided individual; this is a predator documenting and reveling in the abuse of children.

Bradley was indicted by a federal grand jury on December 8, 2021, facing seven counts: production of child pornography (Counts One, Two, Four, Five, and Six), transfer of obscene material to a minor (Count Three), and attempted sex trafficking of a minor (Count Seven). He ultimately pleaded guilty to all charges on July 27, 2023. Facing a potential sentence ranging from 15 years to life, Judge Baker delivered a sentence that, while significant, barely scratches the surface of the damage Bradley inflicted.

In addition to the 35-year prison term, Bradley will be subject to a lifetime of supervised release. He also faces a potential fine of $250,000, though that feels paltry compared to the cost of his crimes. It’s crucial to remember there is no parole in the federal system. Bradley will serve the entirety of his sentence. This case serves as a grim reminder of the predators lurking in our communities and the importance of vigilance.

The investigation was a collaborative effort led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with critical support from the Beebe Police Department and the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division. Assistant United States Attorney Kristin Bryant skillfully prosecuted the case, ensuring justice, however imperfect, was served.
