Ronnie Powell, 40, and Daniqua Dixon, 34, suspected members of the notorious Bloods gang, were busted in Buffalo, NY, on March 18, 2026, for running a lucrative drug trafficking operation and packing heat. The dynamic duo, allegedly affiliated with the violent street gang, was caught with a stash of cocaine, crack, fentanyl, and meth, as well as two loaded firearms and over $10,000 in cash.
The investigation, led by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Buffalo Police Department, and Buffalo Police Gang Intelligence Unit, had been tracking the Bloods’ activities in the city, particularly on the east side. Powell and Dixon, sporting gang-related tattoos and known to associate with other Bloods members, were identified as key players in the gang’s narcotics trade.
A search warrant executed at a South Domedian residence used by the pair turned up the incriminating evidence, including a brick of suspected cocaine, quantities of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. Powell was taken into custody during a traffic stop the same day.
The charges against Powell and Dixon carry a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison and a maximum of life. As suspected Bloods members, they are accused of committing violent acts to protect gang-controlled territory and houses associated with the gang.
Assistant U.S. Attorney P. Richard Antoine is handling the case, which is the result of a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies to take down the Bloods and disrupt their illicit activities in Buffalo.
