Boss Terrell, Murder, New York 2020

Boss Terrell, a 21-year-old Bronx gang member, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and racketeering in connection with his membership in the WashSide gang.

The charges, unsealed in Manhattan federal court, allege that Terrell was involved in a number of crimes committed by the gang, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, and narcotics trafficking.

According to the indictment, Terrell participated in the shooting that killed Tyrone Almodovar on June 26, 2020, in the Morrisania neighborhood of the South Bronx.

In addition to the murder charge, Terrell is also accused of attempting to murder rival gang members on July 29, 2020, and conspiring to rob multiple commercial establishments in the New York City area and other states between June and August 2020.

Terrell was arrested today and presented before United States Magistrate Judge Valerie Figueredo. He is being held pending a bail hearing.

The case is being handled by the Office of the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, with the assistance of the NYPD and the DEA.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams praised the investigative work of the DEA and NYPD and thanked the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office for its assistance in the case.
