Brian T. Labar, Methamphetamine Distribution, Pennsylvania 2023

A Monroe County man was sentenced to 70 months imprisonment for distributing a half pound of crystal methamphetamine.

Brian T. Labar, 45, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced on December 13, 2019 by U.S. District Court Judge Malachy E. Mannion for distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Labar previously admitted to distributing one half pound of crystal methamphetamine for $3,350.

He was arrested by authorities after he and another individual delivered the methamphetamine to a confidential informant on December 13, 2019 in the parking lot of the Eagle Valley Mall, Stroud Township, Pennsylvania.

The case was investigated by the DEA and the Pennsylvania State Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Todd K. Hinkley prosecuted the case.

This case is being prosecuted as part of the joint federal, state, and local Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Program, which aims to reduce violent crime.

Labar will serve 70 months in prison followed by 4 years of supervised release.

Labar is considered guilty of distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
