Victor Marshall, Drug Trafficking and Firearm Possession, New York 2022

Buffalo, N.Y. – The grim reaper of the streets has been dealt a second life sentence by federal judges. Victor Marshall, 51, a notorious drug kingpin in Buffalo, NY, was sentenced to serve 156 months in prison, more than 13 years, for his role in drug trafficking and firearm possession.

Marshall’s reign of terror began when he was first convicted of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine back in June 2014. He was handed a sentence of 130 months in federal prison followed by five years of supervised release. His parole agreement came with one strict condition: no further crimes, be they federal, state, or local.

Bold as brass, Marshall ignored the warning and returned to his criminal ways. In March 2022, he was indicted by a federal grand jury on new drug and gun charges. He swiftly admitted to violating his supervised release by engaging in conduct outlined in the indictment.

The U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross made it clear that Marshall’s latest actions were intolerable. ‘This sentence serves as a reminder to those who think they can evade justice,’ Ross stated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Pierre Richard Antoine, who prosecuted the case, emphasized the severity of Marshall’s offense. ‘Marshall’s actions endangered countless lives and he will now face the consequences of his choices.’

The sentence handed down by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara is a result of an investigation led by Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI has been relentless in its pursuit of drug dealers and armed felons, and this conviction is yet another testament to their dedication.

Marshall’s return to prison marks the end of a long and violent chapter in Buffalo’s criminal underworld. His sentence sends a chilling message to those who would seek to challenge the rule of law: your time will come.
