Burr, Sheldon H, and Associates Arrested for Mail Fraud, New York, 1910

In a stunning raid, Inspectors charged Sheldon H Burr, president of Burr Bros, with swindling the public out of more than $40 million by fraudulent use of the mails. Burr and his associates, Eugene II Burr, secretary and treasurer, and Frank H Toboy, vice president, were arrested and held on $20,000 bail each.
