FITCHBURG, WI – Calvin M. Henderson, Sr., 45, is facing serious federal charges after authorities say he was caught with three handguns and ammunition despite being a convicted felon. The indictment, handed down May 17, 2023, alleges Henderson knowingly violated federal law when he possessed the weapons on January 26th.
The case unfolded earlier this week when Fitchburg police, working with the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Henderson in Madison on Monday, May 22nd. Sources close to the investigation indicate the arrest was the culmination of weeks of surveillance. Henderson appeared in U.S. District Court in Madison the same day and is currently being held in federal custody.
