DAVENPORT, Iowa — On October 20, 2020, United States District Chief Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Carlos Sanchez Varela, age 48, of Coralville, to 30 months in prison for illegal reentry after deportation as an aggravated felon and false representation of a social security number announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum.
