CHARLESTON, W.Va. – In a gritty turn of events, Carlito Harris Carter, 44, of St. Albans, has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges, admitting to the sale of deadly substances methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Court documents and statements reveal that on January 22, 2024, Carter sold a dangerous dose of fentanyl to an informant for $50, a transaction that took place at his residence in St. Albans.
The grim reality of the crime was exposed just four days later when law enforcement executed a search warrant at Carter’s home.
